Zach Peterson will be here. Jack be here yeah and Zach on the uh warp tour yeah okay I'm reading this article this morning about uh dwindling ticket sales and cancellations what's behind the decline

to music festivals and it's basically what we all pretty much assume uh first of all money

it's a lot of more expensive and you don't really want to.

And one of a couple of these, we've always said, so many bands that nobody knows you to

hell they are. Yeah. Yeah. And why would you want to spend money and sit through bands? You don't

know who they are. And that's the way, and that's the way it used to be. I understand bands need

to get a start somewhere, but we've seen these posters. They're crazy. And even I ask people that are really into some new stuff, new stuff, and also different kind of music than I'm into. I go, do you know any of these bands? I don't know any of them either, man. Yeah. And also, there's also way too much diversity. Hate to say diversity because that's usually a good thing.

But I don't want to go to a show where I see the bands I want to see, and all of a sudden there's bands that have nothing to do with them bands. And then I would hear rock bands. Yeah, I want to hear rock bands, man. I want to go to a place just as rock band. Whatever form of music you like, if you're going to go to a big festival for even one day or multiple days, you want all the music to be something you're interested in. But that's never the case anymore. I mean, there are. There's rock festivals that are focused on rock music. But the one that comes to my mind that's a perfect example of what we're talking about is Lollapalooza. Right, right. Lollapalooza has become all over the board. Cichella has too. They say Cichella's down. Like Lollapalooza, Friday night this year on Lollapalooza, your top two acts are Olivia Rodrigo and corn. Who wants to see both of those? That's an odd mix. Nobody. There was a... Corn's like, rah-r-ha! Yeah. Right. Exactly. I'll tell you, there was a rock festival. I didn't... I was in Ocean City, New Jersey... Excuse me, Ocean City, Maryland in mid-May. It was a two-night thing. And, yeah, if you like the music, but it was all rock bands. I mean, rock bands. I don't Nick doesn't hate it. Boardwalk, rock. That was it. Read the bands of that. Let's see. What did they have here?

The headliners were Def Leopard, I believe, one day. And then I know Motley Crew pulled out because somebody got hurt or something like that, but it's Def Leopard. It was all rock bands. Rob Zodby. Yeah, the Saturday night was Rob Zombie, Def Leopard, Halestorm, Bush. Right. And then Sunday night was Nickelback, Shine Down, Three Days Grace, Alice Cooper, Brett Michaels.

Yeah, yeah.

Yeah, I, yeah. All great rock bands all the way down both nights. So you're going to go, you're going to find something like in all those bands. Yeah. Fuel was there. There was a festival in Redondo Beach. It was there. Fuel. Yeah, fuel was there. It's all rock bands. There's Kat Von D's a musician?

I don't know.

She's some sort of host or something. I thought she was like the tattoo. She's a tattoo chick. She must be a host. Check the lineup for the Redondo Beach Festival. I forget what it's called. Happened in early May. And I think it was like rock bands, but not a million of them.

And by the way, I will turn this around, too, because there's got to be people out there.

Maybe not listening to us so much, but that only like certain kind of music, don't want to hear a rock band, right? Yeah, but whatever music you like, if you're going to go to a festival, you want to hear that music, right? Yeah, because it does. It costs a lot. It's a lot of time. You don't want to be disinterested in half the lineup.

Redondo, it's a beach life festival just a few weeks ago.

You got one night it was Lenny Kravitz, train O-A-R, the struts, the second night, sublime, the pretenders, cake, Sugar Ray.

And then Alonis Morissette, Jackson Brown, the Beach Boys, Big Head

Todd and the Monsters on the third night.
