And then Jeff Carlin goes, oh, yeah, I should get out there. And she goes, I booked you twice. You're not coming back. You always cancel me. So the red wine was talking a little bit at that point. Oh, I think so. Have you ever done this?

Because Jeff Garland's in the news because he walked out of a gig

because he agreed to do some supper club and in California somewhere,

a country club for like $800.

$800, by the way.

But he wanted it in cash.

He shows up and they had him an $800 check and he leaves. He doesn't do the show. I would need the check. Well. Those were not the terms agreed to. Yeah. Well, apparently it goes on to say, what's the big deal? Because, you know, he's obviously got money from Kurb and he also was on the Goldbergs for years. So he's got money.

800 bucks is nothing.

But it says he's a weird dude. You know, he said it's probably not to be $800. He's probably he wanted it cash. And he, maybe he owed his drug dealer, $100. I don't know. But he just didn't, he took, he said, oh, with you, I'm not going to do the show. like that. Does he test him like that?

You know, that's the old green M&Ms or whatever m&ms with van hailing yeah you you ask for something like that and if they don't follow through that that shows you oh they might not follow through on several other things like van hailing had like safety concerns yes yeah well they wanted to make sure people read the entire i don't think you test anybody he was just a he was just, no, he just wanted cash. Yes. Yeah. Well, they wanted to make sure people read the entire contract.

Because he would have had to pay a couple hundred bucks in taxes on it. Who knows? If he cashes the check, you would have to claim that as income and then pay taxes on it.

He probably regretted agreeing to the gig and was looking for a way out. Thank you, Nick, because here was a deal. It says he shows up as like 40 people. It's a country club somewhere. So it was a private thing. You know, nobody knew about it because that guy could get more than, you know, $800 to a show, you know.

He's Jeff Carlin, for God's sakes, you know. I bet it was that more than anything. How's his stand-up? I've heard it. I haven't seen it, but I've heard mixed-reviews. Wasn't he stand-up before?
