And we begin with a Queen where there was once a king.

Sunday night at the American Music Awards belonged to Taylor Swift who won in

all five categories for which she was nominated. In doing so, she dethroned Michael Jackson

and his 24 awards to set a new high water mark of 29.

Among the honors, Artist of the Year and Artist of the Decade,

which set up her will she or won't she play her oldies moment.

She did and took the high road in her acceptance speech.

There was no mention of her very public spat

with her former record label.

Instead, the Lover Singer thanked those she's working with now,

celebrated her fans for always showing up, and

said her latest work was all about new beginnings.

It was a blizzard at the box office.

Frozen 2 buried the competition, taking in 127 million dollars here in North America,

and another 350 million worldwide.

That's the highest grossing weekend ever for any animated film

globally and it's the largest opening for any Walt Disney animation studios

release. Another PG movie, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, about the Mr Rogers TV show, came in second but wasn't even close.

But that's not to say we didn't learn a pretty cool fact about its star.

Actor Tom Hanks just found out he is actually related to Fred Rogers, the TV personality

he played in the film. They are six cousins sharing a great-great-great-great-grandfather who was born in 1732.
