2019 and we begin with a Florida high school saying a final farewell to

formaldehyde frogs. Traditionally, students who take

biology are at some point asked to dissect or carefully cut apart the body of a

dead chemically preserved frog in order to study its organs.

It's exciting for some kids, disgusting for others.

J.W. Mitchell and Newport Ritchie may have the answer.

It's reportedly the first school in the world to opt for state

of the art synthetic frogs which are made out of water, fibers, and salt and are

designed to look and feel just like the real deal. The company that makes these

frogs of the future say they're safer because students no longer have to come in

contact with chemicals and the Animal Protection Group PETA which stands for people for the ethical treatment of animals, says

the new technology will save the lives of millions of frogs.

There are no two ways about it.
