And we begin with an epic journey now underway at the bottom of the world.

33 year old Colin O'Brady set out yesterday to become the first

person to cross Antarctica alone and completely unaided. He's on skis, pulling a sled with 400 pounds of food and supplies, everything he might need to cross 1,000 miles of ice in temperatures that average minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Even though the journey will take him about two months,

there's one notable item he didn't pack.

Extra underwear.

Colin says there's just no room for even one more pair.

The political finish line is in sight.

In just 24 hours, voters will head to the polls to cast ballots in the all-important midterm election.

For candidates, that means today is the last push, the last chance for them to rally and

robocall their way to victory.

When all is said and done, the votes could change the

balance of power in Congress. At this point, it looks like Republicans will keep

control of the Senate, but Democrats may take the House of Representatives.
