And we begin with gymnast Simone Biles reminding us that she's human,

even as she continues to redefine her sport.

She fell twice at the world championships yesterday,

once on balance beam, and once on vault,

and even put her hand out of balance during her floor routine.

No matter, she still made history.

She is now the first woman to win the all-around world title

four times.

And if that's not enough, she did it by her widest margin ever.

Experts say her level of difficulty is just so off the charts

that it more than makes up for any mistakes.

And as we told you earlier this week on Kid News, she's even competing with a painful kidney stone.

In politics, we are now T-minus five days until the most expensive midterm election in US history.

By the time polls open Tuesday, candidates and the organizations representing them will have

spent at least 4.7 billion dollars on ads and rallies in the hopes of winning voters.

Campaigning will hit a fever pitch this weekend with all the big names hitting the

stump, especially in Florida, which is two big races on the ballot, one for governor and the

other for the Senate. Former President Barack Obama will be there for Democrats

tonight and President Trump will rally Republicans for the second time in less than a week on Sunday.

Why all the fuss? Tuesday's election will determine which party controls Congress.
