Summary

One of the gifts that has come from navigating loss and hardship is that I've gotten better at showing up for others who are going through challenges in life. Someone who has helped me improve the way I support others is Suzie Barbour, who is excellent at navigating what to say (and what not to say) in times of hardship and loss.

Today we're sharing what we've learned and how we operate (as well as what we avoid) when supporting people through their dark times.

I cannot wait for you to hear this important episode! These conversations improve relationships which in turn improves our lives and our communities.

life. She came on board when I was pregnant with Dagnie because I knew I was going to need

1:56.1

support and structure as I stepped away to become a mom. And then not only was it a really

2:04.1

challenging season for me, it was a super challenging season for her because not only did

her experience really shift when Dagnie died unexpectedly, but Dagnie died the week that
