Peggy Kwisuk Hong has been teaching Iyengar Yoga since 2001 and is certified as an Intermediate Junior II teacher by the Iyengar Yoga National Association. She lives in Detroit where she founded, taught, and directed a nonprofit Iyengar Yoga center, Riverwest Yogashala, from 2003-2012.

Peggy has done very interesting work with Karma yoga, or yoga of service, and with my company, we're always trying to find new and effective ways to donate our time and funds, so this is why I've invited Peggy on the show today.

So hello and welcome everyone. This is Lucas Rockwood with the yoga talk show. Thanks for tuning in. I have a special guest today named Peggy Hong.

Peggy has been teaching Iengar Yoga since 2001 and she's certified as an

intermediate junior level two teacher in the Iengar Yoga National Association. And for those of you who are not

familiar with the Iengar yoga tradition, the certification process is very, very rigorous.

Center called River West Yoga Shala from 2003 to 2012 and Peggy's done some really interesting work with
