In this episode, I have the joy of talking to my friend and brother, Ray Preacher,

and we're going to focus our conversation on preaching sermon series.

This is a challenging time to preach in, and it only exacerbates the challenge when you are in a

mode where you are thinking from week to week what you are going to say.

And one of the things that has blessed me through the ministry of Ray Pritchard over the years

is his selection and preaching through

various types of series and we'll just ask him some questions and see what we can learn. Thanks

for being on with me, Ray. Oh, my pleasure, H.B. Always good to be with you. Good deal. So for those

who may be listening or watching and may not

be familiar with you, tell us a little bit about yourself. Well, I'm an Alabama boy, a southern

boy, went to school in Chattanooga, Tennessee. That's where I met my wife. Went into the

pastoral for 27 years in, I've got to think about this, in Chicago,

in Dallas and then, well, in Los Angeles and Dallas and Chicago for 27 years.

Along the way, my wife and I had three boys who were now all grown up and married.

And then we moved to Tupelo, Mississippi, and then back to Dallas, and now

living in Kansas City. Along the way, we started keep believing ministries, ministry of

Bible teaching and equipping, especially by the internet, using the internet to resource

the body of Christ, not just here in America, but around the world.
