So for those who are listening and may not know who you are, tell us a little bit about yourself.

So I'm currently teaching at Moody Bible Institute.

I've been there for five and a half years as a professor in the Bible department. Prior to that,

I taught about 17 years at another school in biblical studies. I love to teach hermeneutics,

probably more than anything else. I've also taught preaching and pastoral studies.

I've previously been a senior pastor of two different churches.

One was a church plant, but I found my home more in the classroom for the last several years than as a senior pastor.

I'm also currently on staff as a pastor at Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park, Illinois,

where I am the pastor of preaching and teaching and care.

And so my primary responsibility is to preach in the absence of the pastor and to do teaching
