I cannot believe we're already to the last episode of another year, just like last week

today we're going to be doing another greatest hits episode.

This one is from way back in episode 10 and it is author and therapist Molly Millwood on

motherhood, marriage and the modern dilemma.

We were lucky to have such an impactful episode early on and this is when that I personally

have gone back to and listened to the most.

It always feels like the biggest warmest hug combined with a gentle nudge forward.

Yeah, we covered so many topics in this conversation with Molly and one thing that really stands

out to me is the unrealistic expectations that so many of us carry and if you think about

it, there are truly endless, like from the way we look to how we act to how much we should

get done, how our partnership should be thriving, like the list it goes on and a lot of us

think that everyone else has it together and it's a personal fault of our own if we

don't.

But Molly, she reminds us in this episode that things aren't always what they seem and

she sees this every single day in her therapy practice when she's seen mothers and also

couples.

Molly reminds us that motherhood has a profound impact on us and it doesn't just change

us in those initial demanding newborn days.

It changes us forever.

She dives into how we can work with our partners to get more support.
