I'm pulling out of my driveway.

We all know what this means.

For starters, the new office is open, and it's time for drive to work.

So today is the very first day of our new offices being open.

So I am for the first time driving to the new offices.

So today, I thought I would talk about designing for limited.

So when we make a set, obviously, many different people will play with every set.

There's lots of different uses for the set.

But one of the ways to play with a set is in limited.

And when we say by limited, there's two main formats we designed for.

One is sealed. Most pre-releases are done in sealed.

Sealed meaning you just open up, you get like the equivalent of six packs usually.

You open it up, you can add any basic land you want and you play.

Or booster draft, booster drafts where you get three boosters, you open it up, you can add any basic land you want, and you play. Or booster draft,

booster drafts where you get three boosters. You open it up one at a time, you choose a card from it.

Usually you draft with seven other people, and then you pass a card to the left. You keep doing

that to you draft all the cards from Pack 1, Pack 2, you pass to the right, do that to drafts all the cards from Pack 2, Pack 3 back to the left.

There are other ways to play limited. There are other limited formats, but Booster Draft and Sealed are the vast majority of play.

In fact, booster draft is most of limited play. Sealed really is restricted to the pre-releases. It's a sanctionable format, and there are

some stores that do a little bit of seal, but it is mostly when people want to play limited formats
