Summary

We discuss the Q hypothesis, which attempts to make sense of those similarities in Matthew and Luke that are not found in Mark by positing a lost gospel that consists primarily of sayings of Jesus, possibly written by his earliest followers in rural Galilee. When removed from Matthew and Luke, Q has some interesting things to say.
