| 0:46.6 | Because we're going to do a little before and after as to how alive your senses feel at the end of this series as compared to how they felt |

| 1:18.0 | For example, today you're going to repeat an affirmation to help you be mindful and in the moment as you |
| 1:28.2 | explore your senses and you're going to explore the sense of taste. |
| 1:35.0 | And I want you to focus on actually tasting the words as you speak them. |
| 1:42.0 | So an affirmation is a positive statement that you might |
| 1:48.4 | repeat a few times to help release negative thoughts or to help keep you focused on a quality you want to acquire. |
| 1:57.0 | A mantra is a sacred word that you might even chant or sing in a satsong where you're with a group of people |
| 2:07.6 | and you're chanting these ancient words. Well, when you speak this week, I challenge you to see how your words taste. |
| 2:22.0 | You know, your emotions create all kinds of taste experiences |
| 2:30.7 | in your mouth. You can relate to this if you think about how if you're nervous, |
| 2:37.0 | sometimes your mouth is dry and you feel parched. |
| 2:41.0 | And if you're scared you can have a metallic taste in your mouth. |
| 2:49.1 | If you feel deeply in love your mouth feels soft and your words seem to flow out of your mouth. |
| 2:57.0 | So the affirmation for this series is I am present |
