Summary

Something I see a lot with the women that I serve is this stressful and conflicting scenario of hearing the phrase “you deserve someone better”. This is a phrase that is commonly used when someone, particularly a romantic partner, seeks to cut ties with us.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing helpful and encouraging advice about finding the message within that particular message. I share 3 messages that you should know when you hear phrases such as “you deserve someone better,” or “it’s not you, it’s me”. I discuss why accepting this phrase stems from a low sense of self-worth, and a one-sided negotiation that only happens within yourself.

It can be easy to personalize and internalize this message. And my hopes with today’s episode is that I provide a new perspective to this roller coaster of a scenario. This is a common situation many of us find ourselves in at one point or another. So listen to this episode as many times as you need, share it with a friend or family member, and take the messages that resonate with you.
