I Know That My Redeemer Lives. It seems like a sea shanty.

It's very fun to sing, and the chorus is, shout on, pray on,

we're gaining ground. Glory, hallelujah.

The dead's alive and the lost is found. Glory, hallelujah.

Our Redeemer does live, and if that were not true,

we would all be lost and without any hope at all, but he does live.

And as the song says, he lives to bless me with his love.

He lives to plead for me above.

He lives my hungry soul to feed. He lives to help in time of need.

He lives all glory to his name. He lives my Savior still the same.

It's a great song, but the part that really caught me that I wanted to maybe

mess around with today, as I talked to you,

is that part about gaining ground.

We have a Savior who does all the things above.

I mean, so much more. He intercedes for us, and he lives.

We know that he's not dead. He lives.

And so we shout on, and we pray on, we're gaining ground.

The gaining ground is not easy. It's not as strong in the park.
