Summary

The Jnana mudra is an ancient meditation technique that has become a classic representation of meditation.

This is a technique that you may have visualized yourself doing

before you started a meditation ritual.

When you thought of meditating,

you may have visualized yourself seated on the ground, legs crossed, maybe even with

your legs in the Lotus position, maybe you were really dreaming, or maybe you're very flexible and you actually

sit in the lotus position.

Whatever the case, you likely imagined yourself in a serene location, uninterrupted, experiencing this peace and calm instantly as you were seated and you may have

visualized yourself holding your fingers in a particular position where you

connect your thumb with your index finger. This is the classic way to hold your hands for many people in

meditation. So you may have soon realized after you started meditating that you meditate and sometimes things go beautifully,

but other times you're interrupted, your children may crawl all over you, or you are so distracted
