0:47.0	It's good to be in your earbuds or in your car as you go about.
0:52.4	And today we're going to talk about priesthood. We're
0:55.2	going to talk about the Catholic priesthood, but in order to understand the
0:58.0	Catholic priesthood, we're going to look first at the Old Testament, the
1:02.1	Levitical priesthood that the ancient people of Israel had,
1:06.0	and then how the New Testament, the Catholic Church fulfills that and
1:15.0	I'll look at our Proverb of the week and as I sometimes do on the Proverb of the Week I sneak out of the book of Proverbs and I
1:22.0	draw verses from other books from the sacred
1:27.2	wisdom tradition. So you know we have Proverbs but we also as Catholics have Ecclesiasticus also known as
1:35.1	Sirac we have the wisdom of Solomon we have the book of Job and others that are
1:40.4	considered books of wisdom and so this week the proverb the week comes
1:45.5	from Ecclesiasticus also known as Cyrach chapter 7 verse 31, fear the Lord and honor the priest and give him his portion as is commanded of you.
