0:45.4	and someone says to you, oh, we don't watch those Star Wars movies
0:49.2	because the force is anti-Christian. The force is not truly God. And you know what? They're kind of right, but we're going to look at a different perspective on Star Wars and the force and see if it's compatible with Christianity.
1:05.7	I think you're going to be a little surprised about what we have to say. Well, good morning, good afternoon, and good evening to wherever you are in the world and welcome
1:21.7	back to the Taylor Marshall Show.
1:24.2	We're talking about Star Wars.
1:26.2	Is it Christian or anti-Christian?
1:29.7	Is the worldview in Star Wars opposed to the worldview of the Bible, the worldview of the
1:36.9	Catholic Church. And of course most people immediately begin to compare the
1:41.0	force with God and of course if you do that there's a lot of
1:44.5	philosophical problems with that I mean first of all God doesn't have a dark side
1:48.6	and the force is an impersonal force no one prays to the force is an impersonal force.
1:52.9	No one prays to the force.
1:55.2	No one seeks salvation through the force.
1:58.6	And so I gotta do something a little bit different today,
2:00.7	probably something you've never heard of before and we're
2:03.1	going to look at what Thomas Aquinas teaches about a certain topic and how it's
2:08.1	related to the force and I think you're going to like it a lot. I'm going to save it.
