This is the kickoff man. This is episode one.

Super excited to get this thing going. Taylor and I have been talking about this Maccabee society for some time.

We're so excited to get this podcast rolling and we

thought maybe for the first one to tell you a little bit about ourselves what our

mission is and why we're doing this so I'll let Taylor kind of kick that off and kind of explain who we are.

All right, Jared, great to be here today and welcome to all the guys who are listening in on our first show.

The Maccabees Society, you know, I thought about this, only think of that for years, like where do conservative men, like where

do Christian men in particular have a space, like a space on the internet, a space to talk,

you know, it seems like to be male, to be masculine is criticized. It's seen as chauvinistic.

I think a lot has to do with feminism. And so I was thinking, how can we provide great content articles things that are

attractive to men but not have a lot of the what's the right word you know some these, there's all these sites in the manosphere they call it, you know, and I read them and they're interesting, they're good, but a lot of them kind of have a lot of stuff about sexual morality and pickup artistry and all this kind of stuff and I wanted something
