What's up, Lady Bollars. Today on the podcast, we have one of the greatest of all time, Carly Void.

We love hearing about her grind on and off the field, which has supported her and joining the 300 Cap Club, currently only three members in history.

We chat at NUSL, U.S. Women's National Team, and learn more about Carly's mentality and work ethic. Enjoy!

Hey, guys. Hi, Carly. Thank you so much for fitting us in. We know you're super busy.

No problem. How has the season been going so far with you guys in the NUSL?

Because we were so excited to see you in the Challenge Cup finals and everything, and so how's it going? Tell us a little bit about it.

Yeah, the season's been been off to a great start. Obviously with our rebrand from Sky Blue FC to Gotham, or New Jersey, New York Gotham FC.

New colors, new logo. Yeah, it's kind of a whole new vibe, which is kind of going hand in hand with our play. I think we've been playing some really good football, good style out there.

You know, we just got to keep pushing to get better, especially in the final third, just continuing to create chances, scoring goals, all that.

But it's been really good. I've been enjoying it. I've also been playing as the 10 and the 9 sometimes, so I've been kind of enjoying just being able to play kind of both of those roles and just mix it up a little bit.

It's been nice to have a little bit of refresher. Is it feel nice to have that change, Gotham FC? Does it kind of give you a little bit of reboost?

It does, yeah. It just obviously has a different ring to it. I think it was needed. Definitely better. I even think the merch is cooler, the logo is cooler, colors are awesome.

So yeah, it was definitely needed. And I think we're all enjoying the whole rebrand as well.

Well, we're from New York, so we're going to have to come to a game soon. Now that everyone can go to games again. Yes.

And congrats on your 300 cap. That's amazing. I mean, it's so cool that you made history alongside Christine Lillian, Chrissy Rampone. Can you tell us like, what was that like? What was that feeling like to achieve that?

I think it's wild because I first started on this team in 2005 and you can't predict how a journey like this is going to go.

It's all about the grind. It's all about focusing on one championship at a time and every championship with a World Cup in Olympics, it's every four years.

You kind of break that up into those cycles and your heads down, you know, you're, you're chomping at the bit, you're just, you're getting after it, you're competing when the World Cup ends and you're switching gears to the Olympics.

And then when that's over, then you're switching gears to another World Cup. And before you know it, yeah, I was approaching through 100 caps, which is a very, very small, small club.

I have been able to play with and get to know and, you know, it's amazing to be in company with both of them, Chrissy and Christine.

I do know Sinclair, I think, is approaching 300 as well. So she perhaps will be joining the club shortly.
