All right, so yesterday was Juneteenth, and in honor of the day, I made a donation to Beam.

So I learned about Beam back in 2020 and throughout the years have made donations,

just depending on the holiday or what was going on.

And Beam stands for the Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective.

So this is a nonprofit that trains, funds, holds healing space and resources of international

therapists, all for marginalized communities.

So per their website, they say our mission is to remove the barriers that black people

experience getting access to or staying connected with emotional health care and healing through education, training, advocacy, and the creative

arts. So I love what they do, and it felt like a beautiful way to honor June teeth.
