If you don't repent, if you're engaged in some filthy conduct, you're headed straight for hell and there's nothing you can do about it. Today's episode might be a particularly hard listen. Yes, but if you're interested in the Westborough Baptist Church... Yep, if you're a big fan of the Westboro Baptist Church and their religious vibes. I'm not sure fan is the right terms. If people are a fan of them, this probably isn't necessarily the podcast for them.

Definitely not the right word. I guess I'm just trying to make light of something a bit dark.

Yeah, I'm just finding the whole thing beyond fascinating. Ever since I saw the first Louis Thruhe

documentary about them in 2007. Today we're joined by the Megan Phelps Roper, formerly of the

Westboro Baptist Church. You've

probably heard of the church. They're notorious for picketing funerals with their homophobic signs.

Perhaps they're most famous and one of my favorites. God hates fags. I'm glad that's one of your

favorites. She left the church in 2012 and she just brought out a new book Unfollow, which is a

memoir of loving

and leaving the Westboro Baptist Church. She tells the story of her life growing up in the church

in the most hated family in America. It's an amazing, amazing story. I couldn't put it down. Thanks
