Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm into my third week of teaching on a subject that I've entitled 10 Reasons.

It's better to have the Holy Spirit.

And this is a little booklet. It's just a few pages.

And it's a very quick summary of what I've been saying for the last two weeks.

And also I've got four more reasons to go through about why the ministry of the Holy Spirit is better than actually having Jesus physically with us.

Ministering to us in the physical body.

Now that's a huge statement, but that's what Jesus said in John chapter 16 verse 7.

He says, nevertheless, I tell you the truth.

It is expedient. The word expedient means to your advantage for you that I go away.

For if I go not away, the comforter will not come.

So having the Holy Spirit with us is actually better than having Jesus with us.

Now that's a huge statement. I probably wouldn't have made that on my own, but that's what Jesus said.

And most people don't think that that's true. That's because we don't value the ministry of the Holy Spirit as much as Jesus did.

So I've been giving 10 reasons. The first one was that it's better to have the Holy Spirit in us, Jesus in us through the presence of the Holy Spirit than it is to have Jesus with us.

Jesus in his physical body can only be in one place at one time, but now through the Holy Spirit he is all over the world in every single person who has truly made Jesus their personal Savior.

Man, that's powerful. Then we talked about the new birth to get your old nature taken away and literally become born again, born from heaven and received a new nature from God.
