The fantasy playoffs are here and believe it or not, you can still improve your team on the

0:03.7

Waverwire heading into a crucial week 15. Because we just saw a bunch of players get hurt last week and some roles quietly changed. So in this video, we're going to break down the seven players you need to add in your fantasy league before your friends do. And let's start with a guy who we've been saying should be a stash for like the past month or so because he's an elite handcuffed, but also he's been showing his upside lately, and that is the Rams former third

round pick, running back Blake Corm because for the second straight week, Blake Corm just had a good game, if not a fantastic game. Two weeks ago, Corm went out there, seven carries, 81 yards, he averaged 12 yards per carry, he scored a touchdown. That was in a game where Chiron Williams left for some time. He was a little bit banged up. So some people are like, hey, it's skewed because Kyramm was hurt. Okay, even though the early stats suggested this was a split backfield. Well, fast forward to this past week and week 14. And what do you get? You get Blake Horm seeing 12 carries. A hundred and twenty-eight yards in multiple touchdowns had plenty of explosive plays in this one a 40 plus 50 plus yard

0:55.8

touchdown once again averaged over 10 yards per carry he had 12 carries compared to 13 carries

for kairm Williams heading into this game shaw mcvay and the rams coaching staff was saying they

1:05.0

want to keep kaira mulliams fresh for the postseason after they had somewhat of an injury scare

1:09.1

a week prior in week 13 so what did we get we got them keeping Kyram Williams fresh. He split the backfield basically evenly with Blake Quorum in that game. You saw Blake Quorum comes in here. He ends up seeing 36% of the backfield carries. 39% go to Kyra Williams. This game got a little bit wonky, a blowout late. The Cardinals could not stop any of the production by the Rams. Ronnie Rivers, the third string back came in an even average five yards per carry on 24% of the rush attempts. I mean, just a little bit of a side note on how bad the Cardinals' defense is and why you should be targeting them in streaming matchups moving forward for the fantasy postseason. The first five drives of the game, the Rams put up 31 points. I mean, so that's obviously insane. So what do you get here? You get Kyron Williams, who is still like in the eyes of the Rams, the clear cut RB1 on this team, but they want to kind of keep him fresh for the real life playoffs, which means for the fantasy postseason in these next few weeks, Blake Corum goes from being just like a handcuff, a high-end handcuff, maybe the best handcuff you could have in fantasy, to now having that upside as a handcuff if something happened to Kyron, but also being a legitimate flex and RB2 option, we've just seen it the past couple of weeks alone. As you can see from Ryan Heath right here on Twitter, he's a great follow. Make sure to follow him. He says, Blake Horm finished with only one fewer carry and was involved throughout the game. He out carried Williams in the first quarter and saw the same number of him in the third quarter.

2:19.3

So this wasn't some sort of, oh, it was a blowout late. That's why Blake Corum came in. As you could see right there, he was out carrying Kyron in the first quarter and even in the third quarter the same usage. They basically are rotating drives. One drive Kyron, one drive course, drive lasts a little bit longer, they convert some third downs, whatever it might be.

2:35.1

Well, then, yeah, he's going to see more carries.

2:36.3

But right now, it's like a rotation pretty evenly.

2:38.0

And as you can see right here, according to Ryan Heath, he says, over the past two weeks, you've seen a couple of different game flows. The Rams had a back and forth loss and then a dominant blowout win. and during that time, Blake Corma's outgained

2:47.4

Kairn Williams on the ground in both contests.

2:49.6

So it doesn't matter if it was a back and forth

2:51.7

close game loss or a blowout

2:53.4

where the Rams started taking starters off. has outgained kairm Williams on the ground in both contests so it doesn't matter if it was a back-and-forth

2:51.6

close game loss or a blowout where the rams started taking starters off the field late in either of those game scripts it was blake quorum remaining involved in getting a lot of usage again i don't say this to say that he's now the rb one with the rams it just means like maybe there's some sort of Chicago backfield versus DeAndre Swift and Kyle Minangay, both fantasy relevant players.

3:08.1

So that's the way that I'm looking at this backfield right now. I'm starting to think

3:10.7

that both of these guys are. there's some sort of Chicago backfield versus DeAndre Swift and Kaumanangai, both fantasy relevant

3:07.6

players. So that's the way that I'm looking at this backfield right now. I'm starting to think that both of these guys are flex options each week. Obviously, Kyron is a starter, but I think Blake Korm starts to become that right now, yet he's still available in over 65% of fantasy leagues, despite the upcoming schedule looking pretty nice. The Rams are still fighting for the number one overall seed. They only have a half a game lead right now on the Packers and some other teams

3:26.0

in the NFC. So the Rams at home on Sunday against the line. Big game with playoff contention. The Rams and against the Seahawks, big game for the division potentially up for grabs in that game. And then a great matchup in the fantasy Super Bowl against the Atlanta Falcons. So you're talking about some high scoring potential games, Blake Horm is in a nice spot where he should at bare minimum be on your

3:44.3

rosters in case. Super Bowl against the Atlanta Falcons. So you're talking about some high scoring potential games.

4:00.4

Blacorm is in a nice spot where he should at bare minimum be on your rosters in case something happens to Chiron-Lams. And you could actually, if you're in a bind, put him in like a multiple flex spot league. Next up, we got to talk about Zonovan Knight. We've talked about him for the last couple of weeks, but we now have some new information on this Cardinals backfield. And this is as of Adam Schefter this weekend, he basically reports that Cardinals running back,
