| 0:12.4 | For those of you who are exploring yoga nidra for the first time, this is a deep guided relaxation practice usually done in the position of shavasana. |

| 0:26.5 | Find a comfortable position, lie down on your back with your arms resting by your sides |

| 1:02.4 | inhaling a sense of calm through the nose and exhaling, feeling steady and supported through the nose. |

| 1:19.1 | And with every breath, feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation. |
| 1:28.3 | Remind yourself that you are practicing yoga nidra and that you will not fall asleep. |
| 1:35.3 | You may feel sleepy when you are deeply relaxed, but the practice is more effective if you manage to stay awake. |
| 1:46.7 | Now as we start yoga nidra, draw the attention towards your body. |
| 1:54.3 | Start from the head and slowly just scan down all the way till you reach your toes. |
| 2:01.9 | Notice any tension, sensations, discomfort. |
| 2:06.4 | And with each breath, |
| 2:09.0 | allow these areas to soften, release and relax a bit more. |
| 2:24.8 | And now it's time to set a Sankalpa. |
| 2:31.5 | A Sankalpa is anything that you deeply desire, wish for or need. |
| 2:39.7 | It can be something simple and personal. It can also be very general and universal. |
| 2:50.4 | If you already have a Sankalpa, repeat that Sankalpa with full meaning and emotion three times mentally. |
