and we begin with unexpected consequences of Tennessee's epic win over Alabama.

As we reported on Monday, Valls fans stormed Neal and Field in celebration, even tearing

down and carrying out one of the massive goalposts as a souvenir.

At some point, those uprights ended up in the nearby Tennessee River, but they didn't

stay there long.

Thousands of Sigma Kai jumped in, hauled them back to their flat house and cut them up

for those wanting a plastic piece of football history.

Awesome posted the school, but we still need posts for our next home game.

Enter crowdfunding.

Tennessee asked it's faithful to dig deep and donate $150,000 to replace the pipes, some

of the turf ripped up in the melee, and the $100,000 fine levied by the SEC for allowing

fans on the field in the first place.

Not everyone was happy with the ask, but the school still passed its goal goal in less

than two days.

Time may be running out on the twice yearly clock change, we're due to fall back in hours

Sunday, November 6th, but there's a chance that turns out to be the last to raw for

standard time.

Experts say messing with the dial messes with our internal rhythms, sleep, and health.

19 states in the US want to end the practice.

The Senate has already passed legislation to make daylight saving time permanent starting

next year.
