Ian Unger has type 1 diabetes, a disease that causes blood sugars to fluctuate

sometimes dangerously.

Because the condition demands constant train supervision,

his school district says he can't take the bus with his friends

unless he gets a $25,000 diabetic service dog.

Ian didn't ask his parents for the money.

Instead, he got busy planting and selling pumpkins.

Word got out, and he quickly sold out.
