California has passed the law, and it's kind of interesting.

I don't know how many other states do this, but makes all the sense in the world.

I don't know if you've ever been pegged for jaywalking.

I've gotten a couple of tickets for jaywalking, and now tickets are beyond insane, insanely expensive.

Because let's say you get a ticket for $20 or $40.

You walk in and it's $200, and I'm not exaggerating either, all the additional fees and garbage.

And I mean, it just goes crazy the the additional costs so it gets

pretty expensive and I've been tagged for jaywalking but here is the here were the circumstances

on a major road and there were no cars I mean within I't know, hundreds of yards or a quarter of a mile.

And so I walked across the street.

It was perfectly safe.

Boom.

Cop snags me.

Oh, you broke the law.

Well, the governor just signed a bill saying it is perfectly legal to jaywalk as long as it is safe.

In other words, you don't have to go on crosswalks anymore, which means pedestrians can cross the street outside of the intersection or a crosswalk without being ticketed as long as it's safe to do

so. And of course, a cop is going to argue, and it's like speeding with, let's say there isn't a

radar gun or more commonly you blew through a stop sign. No, I didn't. Yes, you did. There's

something called the California roll, and it's not a piece of sushi. It's you're

rolling through the stop sign. You don't come to a complete stop. And no one comes to a complete stop.
