Saints quarterback Drew Breeze threw for more than 201 yards, which is what he needed to break Peyton Manning's all-time passing record.

Was it a big deal? It sure was. The league stopped the game. The ball was turned over to the Hall of Fame.

His kids joined him on the field and the Twitterverse exploded. Even Peyton Manning delivered

his own congratulations via video moments later.

In other sports news this morning, the baseball playoffs picture is getting clearer.

In the National League, the Dodgers beat the brave so they'll take on the Milwaukee

Brewers Friday night. In the American League the Astros are returning to the championship

series. They'll play the winner of the ongoing Boston Red Sox New York Yankees match up.

Residents of the southern US are once again bracing for impact.

Hurricane Michael is churning through the Gulf of Mexico, picking up steam and gaining strength as it powers toward the Florida panhandle.

Forecasters say it's undergone rapid intensification, which means its maximum sustained winds increased at least 35 miles an hour in a day or less.

By the time Michael makes landfall tomorrow, it could be a potentially dangerous category 3.

High winds, heavy rain, and storm surges are expected.

In World News, call it the Thousand Dog March. In London this weekend, more than a thousand canines and their owners

march through the streets to protest Brexit. Great Britain's plan to leave the

European Union in 2019. Build as a wooferendum, the four-legged activists supported signs like,

time to get political, and yes to breakfast, no to Brexit.

Specifically, organizers of this event worry that a break with the EU will result

in shortages of veterinarians and pet care products in Britain.

The final Nobel Prize of the year goes to two American economists for work that couldn't be more timely.
