Kavanaugh, now officially Justice Kavanaugh. Over the weekend, the Senate confirmed the controversial nominee

to the bench of the nation's highest court.

The final vote was 50 to 48, making it the tightest margin of victory

for any Supreme Court nomination in the last 100 years.

Just hours after the vote, Mr. Kavanaugh was sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts and

by the man he will replace retired justice Anthony Kennedy,

a White House ceremony is planned for tonight,

and then Justice Kavanaugh could hear his first two cases

as early as tomorrow.

There are no bad reasons to get a day out from school, or are there?

Four schools in London, England are closed for up to three weeks because of a poisonous

spider infestation.

The spiders are called false widow spiders.

They don't typically bite.

But when they do, it reportedly feels like a bee sting

and can cause headaches, nausea, and sleepiness.

The schools need a fumigate or spray and probably won't reopen until the end of October.
