In news from the nation's capital, it looks like the Supreme Court nomination of

Brett Kavanaugh will move forward after all.

After reviewing a background investigation by the FBI,

the Senate Judiciary Committee went ahead and scheduled a procedural vote for today

to see how much support he actually has and indicated the final

vote by all 100 senators could come as early as this weekend. Mr. Kavanaugh needs

51 votes for confirmation. If there's a 50-50 split, Vice President Mike Pence

would cast the tiebreaker. A geyser in Yellowstone recently blew its top for the
