Teachers Day. And we begin with one young girl in South America not just reaching for

the stars, she's actually exploring them. Eight-year-old Nicole of Brazil has always been

fascinated by outer space. By looking at images of the night sky on her computer, she's

already discovered 18 asteroids. And if those discoveries are confirmed by scientists,

she would become the world's youngest astronomer. Nicole would also get to name the orbiting objects

and says she'd choose names of some Brazilian scientists as well as members of her family,

like her mom and dad. Her parents say they realized her passion for the skies when she

asked for a telescope for her fourth birthday. Nicole is also taking part in a project called

asteroid hunters partnered with NASA to help introduce young people to science.

This book and its family of apps, including Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp all stop working

for about six hours yesterday, which is unusually long for such a major network. It wasn't

exactly clear why, but security experts told The New York Times there was most likely a problem

with Facebook's server computers, which were not letting people connect to its sites.

A company spokesperson confirmed late in the day that services were slowly coming back

online, but said it would take some time for them to stabilize. And Facebook posted a simple

apology on Twitter saying we're sorry to its billions of users. The British Army has come to the

rescue to deal with a fuel crisis in the United Kingdom. For over a week, many gas stations there

have run dry because there aren't enough people available to drive the fuel where it's needed.

That's led to long lines at the pumps and many cars running out of gas or petrol as they call it.

So tanker drivers from the military went through special training last weekend and as of yesterday,
