1:06.1	Here on Searchlight we have been looking at the sad story of a man's downward spiral.
1:11.9	The man is Saul and the story is found in the book of First Samuel.
1:15.2	Saul was the first king of Israel and seemed to start off well, but things quickly
1:20.9	changed. He turned his back on the Lord and became obsessed with killing David because he was jealous of him.
1:27.7	In our current study in chapter 28, we see just how far Saul has gone downhill. He is consulting a medium so that he can
1:36.9	bring up the spirit of Samuel. God actually allows Samuel to give Saul a message, a message that tells Saul that he will die
1:45.8	and Israel will be defeated because of Saul's disobedience. Let's now join
1:51.6	Pastor John as we continue the story from this point.
