Yeah, it's interesting that, you know, Goliath is so tall and we're about to read about

his armor and Israel has a tall guy with armor also who's going to be narrated in this passage.

And so I think, you know, the text is setting us up to be asking the question, why hasn't

Saul stepped forward?

This is why they picked Saul to be king

to go out and fight their battles.

What is he sitting back in the tent hiding for?

And the answer is obvious.
