Hello my friends and welcome back to Unshaken. I'm Jared Halverson and I am so grateful

for all the comments you've left on the last two videos. There have been more than ever

and I've read every single one because I want to get a sense of where everybody's

coming from.

The last one was our introductory lesson for the Book of Mormon.

And I am thrilled at how excited you all are to dive into this keystone scripture.

The one before that was a brief unshaken update episode where I talked about some of the changes we're making and I was really curious to see what your reactions would be.

So thank you for weighing in on that.

There was a lot of weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth over shorter

episodes because you'll miss the verse-by-verse approach. And believe me, I'm with you, I

get it. Some of that weeping and wailing was my own. I love going as slow as possible and savoring every sentence.

I love ignoring the clock on the wall. I've never been able to teach like that.

And so to be able to do that with you has been an absolute thrill

And if I were retired and an empty nester I would be

continue that and probably intensify it. We'd be having 10 hour a week lessons in the

book of Mormon and believe me this book deserves it. But I still have a fuller

than full-time job and I have a wife and children who deserve a lot more of my time than I've given them the last four years.

So thank you for being patient with me and rolling with the punches.

Thank you for the other side of the issue where many of you have chimed in and said,

hallelujah, shorter lessons. I might actually be able to keep up with you from now on.

Or I can finally share your videos with confidence because I'm not going to scare off my friends with a four hour lesson.
