On the afternoon of June 1st, 2015, Alicia Hummel, a 29-year-old preschool teacher, told

her friends and family that she was going fishing off the Missouri River just outside

of Vermilion, South Dakota.

When she didn't return home by 5.20 pm, Alicia's family reported her missing.

Just five hours later, they were notified that Alicia was located dead in the river.

She had been the victim of a brutal murder.

It's been just over eight years since Alicia was killed, and investigators are searching

for the person responsible.
