In just a minute, we'll be picking up at the beginning of St. Paul's first epistle to the

back up. First Corinthians has been a little different in its, not really in its structure,

in the apportionment of its structure maybe than Romans was. When we went through Romans,

we talked about how the way St. Paul's epistles are structured in general

is that there's sort of a doctrinal section.

And then usually marked by the word therefore, there's then sort of a practical section where he applies all of the things he's just sort of laid out and gone over

uh theological so we saw that in uh his epistle to the romans uh that came at the beginning

of chapter 12 uh we've already sort of seen it in first corinthians the first corinthians that

therefore comes in chapter four so we've already kind of switched.

A lot of First Corinthians is focused on practical instruction.
