To New Zealand, to Dr. Ruben Michael Staff, it's a great pleasure to welcome to the show.

He's a senior lecturer at the University of Waikato, in Hamilton, North Island of New Zealand.

He specializes in international security, and I look to the Dr. Ruben Staff to help me understand

the imminent election in New Zealand. New Zealand is part of Five Eyes.

It's understood to share intelligence and to share concerns of the threat to the Indo-Pacific

and to all of the members of the Five Eyes. Right now, the threat is the People's Republic of China.

The program called Orcas Australia, the United Kingdom and the US, is an answer to the aggression

of China and the South China Sea against the Philippines in the region in general.

However, where is New Zealand in this given the election that is pending?

There is a center left, there's a center right.

They neither party expects to hold enough to have a majority government.

There will be a minority government after Saturday's New Zealand time election.
