moments on major elite universities as well as many universities and

campus protests led to more than 3,100 arrests,

but many charges have been dropped.

The spate of pro-Palestinian protests and encampments in Gulf academic institutions of all

sizes in nearly every part of the country and there is a very helpful illustration

provided by the New York Times about the private schools and public schools and

the arrests or detentions or questions raised about students.
