What do we learn? What do we need to know?

I welcome Victor Davis Hanson of the Hoover Institution,

writing most recently, these demonstrations and how the scales have fallen

from the eyes of the American public.

Victor, you deal with mythologies, left-wing mythologies. I begin with the

we're not anti-Semitic, we're anti-Israeli. How is that suddenly revealed as a falsehood. Good evening to you.

Good evening, John. I never believed that it was true. I thought that anti-Semitism

and anti-Israelism were very deeply connected, but the protesters have proved that right I think because if you look at their

flags that they fly whether it's the Hezbollah banner or the Hamas banner or they have training at UCLA with Hamas type

martial arts classes or you see the same Hamas credo from the river to the sea existential

destruction of Israel. So they're not I mean if we were to go to

UCLA or USC or Georgetown or Columbia and ask people, are you, do you like Jews or are you just against Israel?

I think they would make it clear.

And when they chase Jews into the Cooper Union Library or hit a

pinata at UCLA of Netanyahu's face, they don't yell and hit the Israeli. They always say,

say hit the Jew and they don't ask students whether they're for or against Israel

they think they're Jewish. Is this a revelation to the political parties in the

U.S. that it's now naked anti-Semitism?

The Republican Party knew that was now a trademark of the hard left, but I think the Democratic
