Sarah Zaldivar has a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition from the University of Miami. After 9 years in Miami, she recently relocated to Ocala, Florida where she continues to teach nutrition courses online at Miami Dade College. She is a certified personal trainer and a certified Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine, for whom she taught workshops training students to sit for the ACSM's personal training certification.

| 1:42.0 | So currently I'm an nutrition professor at Miami-Date College teaching nutrition classes, but mainly I would consider myself more of a content creator. |
| 1:51.0 | That's where I spend the vast majority of my time creating content, especially for YouTube, but then also a little bit of Instagram. |
| 1:58.0 | And I realized very early on, not that early shown, I guess, but I realized is that the mainstream advice that I was given when I was being taught nutrition as I was becoming a dietician does not work because I was actually applying it. |
| 2:14.0 | I was in just, you know, like memorizing and passing exams. |
| 2:18.0 | I wanted to apply those things on myself, and it would not work. And I struggled with acne a lot. |
