of background on why I chose this topic. I was blown away when I recently heard that Dr. John and

Julie Gottman are going to be in Utah in September to speak about essential conversations for a

lifetime of love. The Gottmans are a really big deal. Dr. John Gottman's been conducting research

on relationships for over four decades and he's now perhaps most famous for being able to predict

with over 90% accuracy whether or not a couple will get divorced after he watches them interact.

Isn't that insane 90% accuracy and I have to say I think I'd be really nervous to talk to Ryan

in front of John Gottman. But the Gottmans rarely travel or do events so I wanted to find out how

this opportunity to hear them speak live had come about. I found out that a marriage researcher and

podcaster named Nate Bagley have put together this event through his organization which is called
