It is a wonderful day today. Have you recognized that? It has nothing to do with the weather around you. It has nothing to do with the weather around you. It has nothing to do with the interactions you've already

had with people. It has everything to do with the fact that you are a believer in

Jesus Christ, that Christ lives in you are a believer in Jesus Christ, that Christ lives in you and that you are in him.

Your identity is coupled with His. You are a vessel through which he lives in this world and that makes every day an incredible day.

There is wonderful opportunity for you in this very day.

Even if you're ill, even if there are conflicts

going on in your home or in your workplace,

even if the worst thing you can imagine has happened in your life, there's incredible opportunity

today because God is in your day.

That's today.

And our focus on this morning mindset is to get our minds wrapped around that and truths like that

To understand the difference it makes that Jesus Christ is in our lives and we have an identity

that's all wrapped up in him. And we've been doing that in the most recent episodes

by looking at the book of Colosians chapter 3 and Paul has said

we are to let the word of Christ dwell in us richly let it happen richly. There are all kinds of pieces of wisdom and insight that come

from God's word and we have to take the time. It's just something that has to be said. It takes time of

pondering it, meditating on it, talking about it with others who have a sense of spiritual

depth to them about what it means and how it applies to our lives.

And so much wisdom richly comes out of that when we do that.

And he goes on and he says part of how we do that, part of how we let the word of Christ

dwell in this richly, is singing Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.

The only place a lot of us do that is on a Sunday or on a Saturday church service
