All right guys. We're gonna do something a little bit different this week, but before we get into that we need to acknowledge what today is so if you're listening to this on time you're essentially

listening to this on June the 6th of 2019 which marks the 75th anniversary

of D-Day and so I know not everybody listening to this podcast is an American or even a Westerner,

but this is an incredibly important day to us as Americans, but really for us across the entire world.

And so this is not an episode about D-Day.

Perhaps that is something that I should talk about at some point.

But it is an incredible time

when American forces storm the beaches of Normandy, basically in defense of liberty and in basically

eradicating evil from this world and in that case Nazi communist socialist evil and so it's just one of those things whenever you look at people that are this age range because a lot of the guys that that died of the young men that that went this beach. These kids were teenagers. They

were in their early 20s. A lot of these guys didn't have families. They didn't go

to college. I mean, this was kind of what the soldier was at that time.

Now certainly there were people that were college educated

and officers that died and older people that died

but a lot of young people, right?

A lot of really, really young people

died on those beaches

and died in the subsequent battles

that led to the defeat of the Nazis.
