Hey guys, what's up? Scott here and I'm back with another episode of the SPL podcast. And this week,

we're actually doing something a little different because we're going to welcome Morton Elhas to the podcast.

Now, you may know of Morton already from his time as the head hon show at TC Electronic where he spearheaded the company's line of bass amps and cabs, not to mention

all the tone prints where he was tasked with creating signature effects for the likes of

Mark King, Nathan East, Yannick Gwisdala, Divinity Rocks, Uriah Duffy, Ethan Farmer, and even

me. So if you've seen any of the TC Electronic videos where there's a cool looking Danish dude

with a ginger beard, that is Morton.

And he really was, I'm not sure how long you've been into, you know, bass and how long

you've been playing.

But TC Electronic a few years ago, I would say maybe like 10 years ago, came steaming

onto the scene with some great amps and just really solidified their place in the marketplace

in terms of base gear.

And Morton was the guy behind that.

He's the guy that TC employed to really get their

their base gear to where it is today. And as you, if you know anything about TC Electronic,

he did an amazing job. So he really is an interesting guy. And he's actually a really

badass bass player as well. Now, since then, he's actually parted company with TC Electronic,

but he's still very much on the scene with the opening of his new bass store in Denmark,

aptly titled The Bass Buda or Buda.
