And we begin with a deep secret, a secret no more.

Marine experts just found an 85 mile long coral reef off the coast of South Carolina.

The underwater wonder has mountains and mountains of coral and is reportedly unlike anything they've ever seen before.

Scientists found the reef a half mile below the surface using a manned rover.

They say there's enough sea life there to keep them busy for years.

Another shocking sea find, this one on the other side of the planet.

A 14 foot giant squid washed ashore on a

secluded beach in New Zealand over the weekend. While the brothers who found it

waited for marine biologists to arrive, they laid down for an epic selfie.

Holy calamari, the squid was bigger than two of the men put together.

Somewhat disturbingly, experts say this size squid is not only more common than you might think,

but they actually can grow much bigger, upwards of 46 feet.

No word yet on what caused this one to beach itself. In world news it looks

like Canada may join the US and Mexico in a new trade deal after all. The agreement allows products made in each of the countries

to be sold in the others without added costs or taxes. President Trump canceled the old agreement known as NAFTA saying it didn't benefit

the United States enough. The new deal could be finalized this week.

The calendar may say back to school, but the thermometer is stuck on summer.

A heat wave is scorching 68 million people from Virginia up through New England,

as well as folks further west in Missouri and Michigan.

Triple digits are expected again today with many schools in Connecticut and Pennsylvania

dismissing students at 1 p.m. before the heat of the afternoon
