And we begin with the Northern California pooch taking the man's best friend saying to a whole new level.

According to NBC Bay Area, Darby the dog was relaxing in the family car

while his owner, James White, fished from a beach in Sonoma County.

James quickly landed a big one, a six foot seven-gill shark,

and spent 10 minutes trying to reel him in.

When James bent down to take out the hook, that's when the shark did its shark thing and chomped down on his ankle.

Darby heard the commotion from the car, raced down the hill, and took his own bite, grabbing the shark by the gills.

But that only made it worse.

Darby seemed to realize the predicament bit down on the shark's tail instead, then dragged

it up the hill and away from his owner.

James still has marks on his leg from the shark and he's pretty sure the

shark still has marks on its tail thanks to Darby. And for the record, James held no ill will for the

seven gill, which he then threw back in the ocean and watched swim away.

One of the biggest airports in the world just canned bottled water.

Up until yesterday, SFO in San Francisco sold 10,000 plastic

bottles of water each and every day. No more. Stores will be able to sell their existing

stock, but going forward won't be allowed to offer

grab and go plastic for H2O. Travelers are encouraged to bring their own reusable bottles and once

through security, fill them on the other side.

The airport has upwards of 100 water stations to meet the demand.
