They canceled football for the entire season.

The reason? Lack of interest.

Apparently, none of the schools had enough players to field a team.

slammed his seven irons so hard against the grass and his foot that the shaft

snapped, flew off, and hit a spectator in the face, a ride to the hospital, and six stitches

later, the fan is fine.

The golfer didn't recover quite as well.

He had trouble finishing the round

and was then cut from the tournament.
