Travis Scott announced a fans on social media

that he was going to quote,

unload my bank account on you guys.

He's been giving away $100,000

as a way to celebrate the success of his number one album.

The fine print?

Fans need to do a little advertising for him by tweeting or posting lyrics to one of his songs,

along with their cash app username.

Nearly a half million people have responded so far,

and many are sharing they did indeed get a deposit,

anywhere from $1 to $1,000 to $1,000.

Apparently his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, doesn't mind the generous offer.

Meanwhile there's a new number one album of all time, The Eagles greatest hits 1971 through 75 just moonwalk past Michael Jackson's

thriller to claim the honor and while you may not think you know the Eagles

thanks to your parents, you probably do.

Their greatest hits is 38 times platinum, five times more than thriller.

Why such a wide gap?

It's taken the Recording Industry Association of America a few years to

recalculate sales to include streaming and downloading. The Eagles also hold the third spot with

Hotel California.

Speaking of California, the state may soon be the first in the nation to ban sugary drinks on kids menus.
